Terms of Use for “Easy Abos” (EZ Abos)

1) Scope
These Terms of Use govern your use of the iOS app “Easy Abos” (short: EZ Abos, the “App”), provided by aurarum, H. Klindtworth, Gorch-Fock-Ring 26, 23683 Scharbeutz, Germany (“aurarum”). By installing and using the App, you accept these terms. Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy; see also our legal notice.
The App is currently free to use. No aurarum account is required.
2) License
aurarum grants you a simple, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for private, non-commercial purposes under these terms and applicable law.
You may not decompile, reverse engineer, copy, distribute, rent, lend, or make the App available to third parties for a fee, except where mandatory law allows otherwise.
3) Purpose and disclaimers
The App helps manage subscriptions, costs, and deadlines. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice. Deadlines, amounts, and recognized document content are guidance only—you remain responsible for accurate entries and timely cancellations.
4) User content
Subscription data, attachments, notes, and other content you create or import generally remain on your device. You are responsible for accuracy, lawfulness, and backup of your content. aurarum does not actively review this content.
5) Optional Apple services and features
Features such as camera, photo library, notifications, Apple Reminders, document import, or exchange-rate fetches are optional and used only after you enable or grant them. Apple’s terms and privacy policies also apply. See our Privacy Policy.
6) Backup and export
You may create backups and CSV exports. Protect those files appropriately; aurarum has no access to your local backups.
7) Feedback
You may voluntarily send feedback through the App. By sending it, you agree that the information you enter is processed under our Privacy Policy. Subscription or attachment data is not transmitted.
8) Availability and changes
aurarum aims for a stable App but does not owe uninterrupted availability. Features may be developed, changed, or discontinued. These terms may be updated for legal, technical, or operational reasons. The published version applies.
9) Liability
aurarum is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to typical foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory claims (e.g. product liability) remain unaffected.
You use the App at your own risk. aurarum is not liable for missed cancellation deadlines, financial disadvantages, or data loss arising from use of the App, incorrect entries, or lack of your own backups, to the extent permitted by law.
10) App Store
The App is distributed via the App Store. Apple’s terms also apply, including the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In case of conflict regarding App Store acquisition, Apple’s EULA prevails.
11) Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise. Venue is aurarum’s registered seat where legally permitted.
