2) Overview
“My Stream Player” is an audio stream player app. The app only processes data required to provide its features. No account registration is required.
3) What data is processed
a) Data stored locally on your device
- Favorite radio stations (including station metadata)
- App settings (e.g., displaying song artwork from your music library)
- Optional user-selected/saved station images
- Widget status data (e.g., current station, playback status), if widget features are used
This data is stored locally on the device and/or app group storage.
b) Data processed when streaming
When you play internet streams, your device connects to the respective streaming server. This may technically involve:
- IP address
- Request timestamp
- Requested content (e.g., stream URL and stream-delivered metadata such as title/artist)
- Technical connection data (e.g., HTTP headers, user agent)
If you allow it in settings, the app may access song artwork in your local music library. This processing occurs primarily on your device using Apple-provided interfaces; artwork is not transmitted to aurarum.
4) External recipients / third-party services
To play selected stations, data may be transmitted to:
- The selected radio station’s streaming provider (audio stream delivery)
Processing by this third party is governed by its own privacy policy.
5) Purpose and legal basis
Processing is carried out to provide app functionality (playback, station management, optional artwork display from your music library).
Where GDPR applies, legal bases may include:
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps)
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in reliable app operation)
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent / user-enabled optional features, where required)
6) No advertising profiling by the app
Based on current functionality, the app does not include an in-app account system or proprietary ad-tracking profiling.

Locally stored data remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
Retention periods at third-party services are defined by their own policies.
